contravention of exclusive use areas

By Malcolm Buchanan on Sun, 03 Dec 2017 at 19:06

I am Chairman where previous lack of management control allowed several owners to alter the common property and their exclusive use areas without trustee/BC consent. I am now faced with a situation where every new owner points to these unauthorized
alterations and says "But they were allowed to alter why can't I?" Many of these alterations were done 10+ years ago.How do I stop this situation from getting completely out of hand? Thank you.

IMO the only way to sort this out is to fully address all the past alterations and additions placing a moratorium on any further alterations and additions until such time all is in order.
