Rude Owner

Hi All, I am a trustee at a sectional title and an owner of one of the units.

For some time now, we have had one of the other owners complaining about various items on our whatsapp group, which is not a problem at all: without knowing what needs to be fixed or paid attention to, we won't be able to fix it.

However, this owner is very rude and belligerent on the group, often verbally attacking a trustee directly.

Is there anything we can do to manage this aside from holding a meeting with the owner, writing the owner an email requesting they abstain from verbal abuse or accusations?

We are updating our complaints procedure and will be sending that out to everyone soon as well for comment and input but, aside from asking, what else can you suggest we do to curb this owner's manner in which he complains?

Send him a warning saying such behavior will not be tolerated, complaints must be reasonable, politeness is required at all times & he will be blocked from the group unless he desists. Block him if he does it again - problem solved. He can then be told to send his complaints though a more formal channel email/letter without them being seen by all and sundry.
