1. How to register
To register on STO, please follow these steps:

1. Go to www.sto.co.za/users/register.
2. Fill in your Salutation, First Name, Last Name, and Profession.
3. Set your Organisation Type and type your company's name in the Organisation/Scheme Name field. (If you are unsure you may select Other as your Organisation Type and company name, then proceed to step 7).
4. The system will search for organizations/schemes with the name you entered and display them.
5. Choose your organization from the list, or if it is not on the list, please click on the blue link in the "Can't find your organisation? Click here to add it" label.
6. If you are adding your organization, fill in its name and type, then click the Add button.
7. Fill in your email address and password, accept our Terms and Conditions of Use by clicking the checkbox, then click the Register button

2. How to post a question
How to post a question
To post a question on the Sectional Titles Online discussion forum, please follow these steps:
1. Go to www.sto.co.za.
2. Log in by completing your e-mail address and password in the fields on the bottom right of the screen and clicking the "Log in" button.
3. Once you have logged in you will see your name at the top right hand corner of the screen.
4. Click on the link on the left hand side "Ask a question".
5. You are then taken to the main page of the discussion forum.
6. Click on the section that your question falls under.
7. The list of sections will expand.
8. Now click on the most appropriate sub category that your question falls under.
9. Click on the "new topic" button at the top of the page to begin posting your question.

There is no guarantee that questions will be answered on STO. It is advisable to keep your questions short and to the point, which will influence the chance of your question being answered.


3. My question has not been answered
There is no guarantee that questions will be answered on STO. It is advisable to keep your questions short and to the point, which will influence the chance of your question being answered.

You may post your question again, but try keeping it in accordance with the suggestion above in order to increase the likelihood of your question being answered.

Please allow for a suitable period of time (i.e. 1 week) before you repost your question.


4. I would like to remove my question
Questions that have been posted on Sectional Titles Online cannot be removed.
The administrators will only remove postings if they are deemed to be unsuitable for the community.


5. I cannot find the sectional title plans page
We have removed the sectional title plans page from the Sectional Titles Online website.
This page will not be maintained on the STO website as we are now focusing our resources on Paddocks Club.
