"Lost" previous Agm minutes.
What can a BC do if the previous MA (who resigned)will not for some reason hand over the previous AGM minutes? He says he handed them over, we have the file, there are NO minutes. We are certain they're sitting on his computer. It's time for our next AGM. The Auditors are going to try to request them. Any ideas on how to move if we're are not able to get them, they may be lost somewhere on some flash drive or back up, he just will not find them or will not. Thank you!

The trustees could compose from memory, to the best of their ability, the minutes of the previous AGM for tabling and approval of the members.
It has anyway been their responsibility to ensure the draft minutes got done shortly the meeting and circulated to memebrs of the BC.

Are all previous minutes lost, or just those of the last AGM.

We have on copies of all other meetings, normal ones as well. We were constantly told (not only by this agent)that the AGM mins were kept and circulated at the time of notification of the following years AGM. We always thought it odd, as we received all other minutes at the time of a meeting.But we are wiser now. All our records were kept in lever files by this agent. Previous years back there was a minute book operated by Trustees, matters seemed simpler, if a hand written page when I read back then. We still have all the same Trustees I will just have to try and re-draft them.
