Please could you advise what deposits the Body Corporate can ask for. Can it be more than one month.

These charges fall outside the scope of collectibles provided for under the standard rules.
If a BC wishes to implement deposits, a set of rules regulating the matter must be formulated and accepted by the BC in SGM.
The amounts must be reasonable and this concept can be debated at the SGM.
Once filed with the deeds office the rule can be implemented.
