rented parking bay

By Michael Whistance on Tue, 31 Aug 2010 at 11:41

There are a number of basement parking bays which are not allocated to units. The B.Borp rents these areas out to residents who require additional undercover parking. A tenant took advantage of this but did not keep his payments up. Has the B.Corp. any redress via the owner of the unit in which he stay's?

From information it seems that the parking bay agreement is between the BC and the tenant. The BC does not have to "redress via the owner of the unit in which he stays."

Interesting question. Gerhard may well be right, unless . . . Does your complex have a conduct rule regarding the renting of parking bays? If so, would not the tenant be in breach of this rule (in which case the owner would be responsible)?
