Hi can the body corporate trustees forbid you to water a garden with communal water if you have been doing so for 18 years?

Water has been locked and we have had the garden for 18 years now. they say if the plants belong to us then we are to supply water but the garden is on communal property?

Another question does anyone know if there will be an Ombudsman for Sectional Titles?

Hi Sonja - you must refer to Sec 38(d) of the Act which requires the BC to establish and maintain lawns and gardens where applicable.

The emphasis is to maintain - obviously you can't maintain a garden without regular watering....Show More
